Pre-Algebra

The Pre-Algebra class is taught from Chris McMullen's Essential Prealgebra, which is a very affordable, no-nonsense walk-through of pre-algebra skills, with lots of worked examples. The chapter topics are listed below. Progress through the course depends primarily on 1) student interest, motivation, and ability, and 2) how much time per week is set aside to work on it. There are no "grades" issued by Berkstresser Learning. The goal is mastery of pre-algebra concepts leading to readiness for algebra. Pre-Algebra is aligned with the Missouri Learning Standards (MLS).
