Meet the crew!

CJ has devoted much of her life to educating three younger Berkstressers in the Branson, MO, area. The first has come, seen, and conquered the college scene as an English major and has their own happy life with their partner. The second entered the college scene in 2023 as an engineering major. Both were able to take their ACT scores of 32 and 33 and enter the Honors College at Mizzou. The third will begin 9th grade as a homeschooler in 2024. His math mind is amazing, and CJ is thrilled with the fact that the homeschool setting gave him time and space to develop his gifts.

CJ spent the 23-24 school finishing a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Missouri State University and teaching full-time in the public school system. So many lessons learned and friends made! Though we are moving back to homeschooling, we take with us much that will make our lives richer.

When CJ isn't studying, you may find her walking Wilson's Creek near Springfield, MO, or deep in a fun book, or maybe trying out a new dance step, or perhaps baking some fresh bread.

Caleb has spent most of his life after a degree in mathematics doing software engineering of some sort professionally as well as other IT related disciplines. He has taught computer science at college from the 100 to 400 level. He enjoys "dead" languages and how they might be alive to the modern reader. He is fascinated by fitness and is certified by the ASCM.

When Caleb isn't studying or programming, you may find him walking Wilson's Creek near Springfield, MO, or deep in a fun book, or maybe trying out a new dance step in West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, or Salsa.

Some of his best conversations are with his pet tropical fish and Betta splendens--particularly with his lead fish, Hans Betta.

HoneyBeeB, also known as Isabelle, is a small town American artist from Southern Missouri. She is taking a college course in her final year of high school that specializes in graphic design. She hopes to continue on this path at MSU with a major in graphic design. BB (preferred nickname) has been drawing ever since she was little. She started to take it more seriously in the fourth grade. She has gone through many trials and errors to improve her art. BB draws inspiration from music, video games, and various shows. She values her friends and family very much. She is very thankful to have their support.

Dusty is small dust bunny who has dedicated his life to education. He graduated top of his class. Dusty hopes to encourage the young people, and even some older, to embrace education. He has chosen to partner up with some humans that share the same hopes. Dust bunnies don't get noticed very often, so this partnership felt like a good opportunity for all creatures to have a welcoming education.
